Holiday-thin Monday: the S&P 500 slipped 0.06% to 7,807, just below its record close, on volume 55% under average with bonds closed. The Dow rose 0.38% to 51,851 on a value rotation, while the Nasdaq fell 0.44% to 27,246. Energy led (+1.44%), tech lagged (-1.22%). Brent crude gained 1.8% to near $106.50, fueling inflation fears. Nebius ($NBIS) dropped about 6% to near $209 as AI-chip names weakened. I have taken the opportunity to add mors to my position. The TSX was closed for Canadian Thanksgiving. Watch Tuesday: bonds reopen and bank earnings open Q3 season, with $JPM and $GS reporting. Not financial advice.
