Hey everyone! I’m new to the app and wanted to tap into the community's experience. Two questions for you all: If you were building or advising a portfolio for a 50-year-old investor focusing on long-term growth and stability, what asset allocation or strategy would you recommend? What are your views on ESG/SRI ETFs (funds focused on environmental, social, governance, or socially responsible investing) lately? Are they still a core part of your strategy, or do you prefer broad-market funds? Would love to hear your thoughts🙏

Thank you , your last point is very interesting, I would have to consider it.

I think we would need to know their starting amount and their goals to give a better answer, or at least an idea. I just go basic broad index. You're giving up returns by going ESG/SRI without any clear benefit (you're subject to how well the fund manager screens the companies and how they screen them). I find it more productive to just use the extra returns to support great local businesses instead.
