It’s been a few years now since I started investing and I went through a few phases. Starting trying to recreate $XEQT buying the ETFs separately to save some fees. Forgetting about that and going all in on US market with $VFV and $QQC, then trying to optimize my RRSP with $SCHD$SCHG combo. Trying a taste of factor investing with $FEQT, going back to global on RRSP with $VT. Opening a margin account and splitting 50/50 XEQT, FEQT. To finally “simplify” my portfolio to allow global core with factors on $AVGE, $SPMO and $CAGX (went $CAGE first but was never 100% comfortable with the 30% Canada). Using now 130% CAGX on margin account. And the so talked $HEQL to finalize the touch of leverage on registered accounts. I still plan to sell $QQQM and $QQC and consolidade in AVGE and HEQL/CAGX. And will maintain the tech tilt with $HXQ since it is on my non reg account and it willl trigger a large capital gain. It is hard to let go the tech ETFS after they doing so well in the past few years but I will get there, hopefully. Lol
