Strategy becomes the first company to offer preferred stock dividends that accrue every single calendar day (weekends and holidays included). Same annual rates. Same total payout. I think that would be terrible. Have you looked at the IV on STRC? How would any CC fund generate income off something that is pretty flat & stable. There's Canadian options to fulfill your needs with $MSTE which is a way better option in my personal opinion.
While it is good for US residents, as a Canadian, I chose to sell to avoid tracking FX exchange everyday for tax purposes. Though, I only had a few shares so tracking distributions less than a dollar a day is not worth it.
