Because $UTES is so low, I couldn’t resist adding to it. As a result, I now have 5 ETFs at $7k book value and 5 ETFs at $5k book value. I started this portfolio in February 2026 with $50,000 and added $6,000 since. This is now expected to pay ~$890/mo in distributions. Let’s see how they do!

Very nice presentation, good job! Not sure what's the intention of your post, but if you're looking for opinions, or a feedback, here are my 2 cents to think about: HDIV, HMAX and BANK, and partially CANY, are the same sector (Canadian financials). BANK is more or less leveraged version of HMAX. CANY is even more aggressively levered version of also 5 banks. HMAX is a part of HDIV at 20%. Unless, you're super bullish on Canadian banks and do it intentionally, one may say it might be a bit redundant. Same sector, same geography. The only thing, personally I can think of why to hold a couple of options of the same, is call option strategies and maybe fund manager diversification. Hope this helps and good luck!

Utes may take a bigger beating as rates go higher. Time for patience

I’m waiting for interest rates to rise before I buy more Utes. Nice move but I think it will drop more however if interest rates drop I could see it doing well capital wise. I’m more comfortable with a riskier strategy with solid utility stocks for myself personally. DCA is hard to go wrong with.
