You can lose a whole weekend deciding between $XEQT and one more share of $NVDA. Or whether $AAPL is too expensive right now. Early on, how much you invest matters more than what you invest in. When the account is small, even a great year on your picks can add less than one extra deposit would. That flips later, once the pile is big enough that the market moves it more than your paycheque does. So for the first few years it's mostly a savings game, even if the app makes it feel like a stock picking one 😅 The picks still matter. They just matter later. Be honest, what grew your account more this year: the market, or your own deposits? Educational, not financial advice. Just my read.

The surest way to 2x a $10k or $20k account is to save and add another $10k or $20k. 👍 Not enough people realize this. Good post. Hope it reaches the people who need to hear this. 🤞👏

100% return of 10K is equal to 10% of 100K. Easier to save up 100K then have 100% return every year

True, putting down more right now into the markets rather than trying to increase returns whenever possible to let it grow in the future.
