Just for perspective, 300,000 tons of diesel is about 95,000,000 gallons. The United States alone consumes about 130,000,000 gallons of diesel per day. Globally about 1,2 billion gallons of diesel are consumed per day. This may have the potential to reduce diesel prices by $.02-$.10 per gallon for one day. This is a massive gift to Russia’s bank account, nothing more.
