Hi, Anyone actually using the Income from etfs like $HHIS for expenses (mortgage, bills, travel, etc) and not reinvesting? I am currently using all of the income for expenses from $HHIS and not reinvesting. Anyone else?

I’m retired and use my distributions for my leisure but I also reinvest a portion to grow my income to protect myself from inflation.

I reinvest all my divs. When an extra bill like car repairs or I need of extra money for vacay. Or a necessary subscription per year like my anti-virus for my protection. Or in need for that day off that might not be cover cause I don't have full control over my sick days I use my divs for some f*** u money to help myself i take some divs out. Everything elese that isn't a necessity I invest first then buy it . But my shares and portfolio always comes first. Again everybody journey is different. 🙂
