I compared $XEQT and $VFV to see how much of the two portfolios actually overlap. The weighted overlap comes out to 39.83%. But the more interesting number is this: β’ 99.89% of VFVβs identified weight is already contained in XEQT β’ 40.01% of XEQTβs identified weight is also held by VFV So while XEQT is much broader overall, VFV is almost entirely represented inside it. Thatβs a useful reminder that adding VFV or any ETF tracking the SP500 to XEQT may increase your U.S. large-cap exposure more than it increases diversification. π Where to find this ETF Overlap Tool β Overview Which ETF pair should I compare next?

You have a good point. I agree 100%. I see xeqt and vfv in some influencers portfolio which doesn't make sense.

I wondered how much overlap is in some of my tickers. The tool didn't find them. It's a fund that holds funds that hold stocks.
