Hey fam- as you may know Energy Transfer ($ET) will be delisting voluntarily from New York Stock Exchange and listing itself at Texas Stock Exchange, which is not yet supported by Wealthsimple. What are you guys thinking of doing with your ET shares and contracts? I think one option is to move ET shares to other broker like Questrade? But we cant move contracts in my understanding. I asked WS and they said I wont be able to sell my contracts in wealthsimple once it is delisted…and they will be lost..

This shouldn’t affect your options or stocks for that matter. You would be in a close only situation to your expiry. By regulation they must allow you to manage your risk in the position and it would be settled through an options exchange like cboe. You just can’t buy anymore through WS and there may be price fluctuation through transition. If your expiry is in the next week it might be a little more turbulent. I have leaps on ET

@skinvestor thankfully you posted about it or I'd be completely buggered.
