I'm team cash in hand, and I know that's not the popular answer. $SCHD pays about 3.00% right now. $QQQM pays about 0.45%. On $10,000 that's roughly $300 a year vs $45. But plenty of people would rather let growth do the work than chase the payout, and $QQQM is built for that side of the bet. So it comes down to what you actually want your money to do: pay you now, or compound quietly for later. Where do you stand, cash now with $SCHD or growth with $QQQM ?

$SCHD with DRIP outperforms $QQQM but for pure growth I would go with $VFLO.

SCHD isn’t pure cash though lol. It has solid growth mixed in with dividends that slowly increase over time. I don’t see SCHD as a “cash now” investment /: lol
