If I could only hold ONE fund for the next 30 years, I'm STUCK between two. $VOO is the simple, classic answer. $QQQM turned $10K into almost $65K over the last decade, but 2022 showed how brutal that ride gets. $VTI owns every corner of the US and $VT owns the whole planet for 0.07%. Me, I'm an S&P 500 guy long term, but I'd be lying if I said I never peek at $QQQM. One fund. 30 years. No switching. Which one are you picking?

I never understood the draw to $VT or $VTI. $VOO makes the most sense to me bc you’re not being dragged down by the extra weight. Yes it’s more volatile, but that just means there’s more chances to buy the dip while you hold for decades. I guess the same comparison can be made from the perspective of $VOO looking at something like $VGT
