I'm a lot less risk averse than I used to be. But I'm not ready to delve into Crypto. The last year i have been switching to foreign companies, especially defense related. I invest in a number of sectors that I think are going to do well and try and pick the most promising companies from those sectors. I hold my stocks for long term, about 20 stocks/positions are manageable to me. I have work full time so can only monitor and research a few hours a week. But i seem to be outperforming markets and professionals funds the last ten years. You are welcome to look at my portfolio. I generally only make around 12 trades a year maximum.
