Hi folks, I recently interviewed Ben Clark of TMS Capital, one of Australia’s top private wealth managers, about how he decides which stocks to buy - and which to hold - when markets sell off. Many of you will remember the “SaaS-pocalypse” that hammered software stocks in the first half of 2026. With $MSFT hitting a record high today, it’s easy to look back and wish you’d bought more, but buying when sentiment was at its worst was much harder. Ben did exactly that. As he puts it: “This is when outsized returns are made—when you’re prepared to go against the tide and run into the fire, not away from it.” His six-point checklist offers a useful framework for Blossomers navigating those moments. Even amid today’s broad rally, the “picks and shovels” of the AI trade - including NVIDIA, Nebius and Celestica - are under pressure. Ben is using the sell-off to add to his NVIDIA position. Read Ben’s checklist and the two stocks making the cut: https://www.livewiremarkets.com/wires/ben-clark-s-6-point-checklist-for-holding-through-a-selloff-and-2-stocks-making-the-cut I personally used what I learned from this to buy more $ZEQT, $ZWT, $GOGY and $CLHI as they sold off. Hard to pick the bottom... but I'm happy to average down and wait for the rebound as I know they are (or hold) great companies. Also initiated a new position in $NA, Canada's best long-term performing bank. Great ROE & dividend track record, and it got beaten down from $237 to $197 illogically (got in at $207).
