Analysis on a recent buy 🌲
This stock is down major in the past five years, but I recently bought them at $19!!
This company controls the largest amount of private timberland in the USA (10M acres). It’s been operating since 1900 and in Q1 2026 they mentioned in their official investors presentation that they’ve been selling and leasing Timberland property to large-scale data centers.
The average price target is 30
7 out of 12 analysts rate it as a strong by with zero sell ratings
These are obviously not set in stone, and the stock is not guaranteed to go up, it also gets impacted heavily with increased interest rates because mortgage rates are affected by higher interest rates, which means less houses, which means less demand for their product.
I’m still bullish because their FCF is expected to jump from 780 million to 819 million in 2027.
I feel like it’s in major over-sold territory. The PE looks really high at first glance, but it’s also a cyclical stock which distorts PE because macroeconomic factors can spike it artificially high. The Shiller PE is 13.37!
With the Fed possibly increasing rates further, I wouldn’t be surprised if it dipped down but I would increase my position if it did. This might be a swing trade for me, but it also does diversify my portfolio out of tech which is sooo needed lol.
