Happy Friday, blossom 🌸!! I had quite a few new investors reach out to me yesterday after seeing how red the market was. Some were asking if they should buy, or sell, or what stocks or ETFs are good. Please note I'm not a financial advisor at all LOL but this is how I see investing. I know seeing a sea of red can be scary, especially when you've only recently started investing. But here's what I want you to remember: your investment strategy has to make sense for YOU!! Before making any decisions, ask yourself: - Why am I investing? What's my financial goal? - What's my risk tolerance? Can I stomach seeing my portfolio drop 5%, 10% or more? - What's my investment horizon? Will I need this money in a year or 20 years? Personally, I love ETFs! My core strategy revolves around $XEQT because I like having broad global diversification in one fund, with relatively low fees Would I have loved to buy the dip yesterday? ABSOLUTELY. Unfortunately, October did a number on my bank account, so I'm sitting this one out for now. Im also not panic selling just because the market is having a rough few days. If your goals are long-term, your portfolio is appropriately diversified, and you don't need that money anytime soon, pullbacks can also present opportunities. Sooo Don't invest because someone else is doing it, don't sell because everyone else is panicking, and don't feel pressured to make a move just because the market is red!! You're building your financial future on your own timeline!! happy investing!

Love this! Everyone is on their own journey. For new investors always stay the course especially if you’re in it for the long term! It will go up and down

This is why I never invested back in 2020 when you told me to. I was so scared of the red...now I kind of regret it considering we have similar goals and I also have a long term horizon. Glad I started a few years back, and learned that I don't need to panic when it's red. Just stay the course.
