$APP People mistake CPC or CAC stats month to month as an indicator of inflicting ādamageā to their competitors. Wrongā¦ Models change frequently, especially for a company like $APP. Therefore performance can fluctuate. The REAL indicator of marketshare and dominance, is the control of mediation (aka where the supply is listed for sale). $APP will always be able to provide a superior DSP outcome if they also control the auction-place. Top downloaded games: - MAX: 73% - AdMob: 11% - LevelPlay (Unity): 6% Top grossing games: - MAX: 55% - LevelPlay: 25% - AdMob: 13% I genuinely donāt understand this debate over ācompetitionā is actively replacing $APP. The data does not support that.

APP is one of my biggest holdings in my port, its numbers are mind-boggling. company continues to flourish and kill on numbers yet their stock price has gotten cut in half...

Id push back a little. Because APP has the majority of the market share right now within its niche (which you seemed to leave out Google and Meta and Apple and Netflix from the comparisons) it's able to capture large margins on their ad auctions. As competitors grow their ability to efficiently market, theoretically that will have a negative direct impact on their margins. Simply put, applovin is an arbitrage on the price advertisers will pay and the price the game developers will sell ad space for. Once other players increase efficiency on their conversions, then applovin has to take less margin to facilitate their marketplace getting the transaction. I don't know how material this risk is, but it isnt something to ignore.

Iāve read some reports from analysts that have downgraded $APP . Their assumptions are that Applovin already is the biggest player in gaming advertising and there is limited room for growth from here. Based on the last couple earnings reports, that theory doesnāt make sense. If there is a significant reduction in revenue and earnings growth, then maybe there could be something there.
