Hey everyone last month I started a passive income portfolio earning me $1,000 a month on $37k invested. Im using Covered call etfs that use 1.2x leverage & Canada has some really good ones. Invested $36,665 Monthly div: $1,002 Total Div: 12,025 Yield 32.81% You can track the portfolio on this blossom account @bdividends So far I have $YNET$QQCL$HHIS$YMAG , comment which ones I should add. I want at least 20%+ dividend and it should be a grower ;)

Yield isnt return If you remove $1000 per month your $37k portfolio would start to decline. If you are reinvesting all of it you will notice your value isnt increasing by $1000 per month. Covered call ETFs are not magic free money if they were everyone could retire with 100k Read the book income factory and check out Adriano youtube channel Passive Income investing he talks about total return vs yield. Don’t just focus on yield ! Enjoy the journey into income investing
