Over the last 3 years, my investing journey has grown my knowledge and I then helped grow out portfolio. But that didn’t come from me just reading books or going to some finance class. This journey has connected me with so many different styles Of investing and investors. To many to name in this post. All of them bring something to the @blossom community. Moe @moementumfinance is one of those people. This interview was excellent to listen to. So many subjects covered and inspirational to myself and I hope to others. Moe is charismatic and kind and loves to talk finance. Zayla talks about paying yourself first. This resonates with me in so many ways. To me paying yourself first is fundamental to growing your wealth. But doing it while you are still living your best life Sure I don’t buy coffee because I make may own. It was a great discussion & the basics of pay yourself first (treat your future retirement like a bill ) while also creating a balance is key! I can’t say I did that when I was younger- as a single mom bills did come first but I do love the concept For me it was bills, then save up to a certain % once I reached that goal I’d say yes to something fun with my kid. Whatever works for you to stay focused…

So simple yet so powerful. I'd say whether intentionally or unintentionally this notion has been a cornerstone of my household being where we are today.
