I always find it useful to zoom out from the portfolio-level number and visualize what each individual component is actually doing. This TradingView chart is a good reminder that even within the same portfolio, the path of each holding can be very different. Looking at the components YTD, the clear winner is $FINN at +38.28%. Emerging markets have also been remarkably strong, with $ZEM at +23.99%, while $FCMO (+20.95%) and $ZSML (+20.47%) are leading the U.S. sleeve. At the other end, $ORBX at β11.80% is the only holding currently in negative territory. And its path is probably the most striking part of the entire chart: it briefly surged above +60% earlier this year before giving all of that back and more. A good illustration of just how volatile a concentrated innovation strategy can be. A few things stand out to me: πΊπΈ U.S. sleeve: roughly +16.2% using our current weights. FCMO and ZSML are doing particularly well, while $ZSP sits at +13.52%. So far, the factor and smaller-cap exposures have generally added value versus the broad S&P 500 component. π¨π¦ Canada: also around +16.2%, with all three components solidly positive. $FCCV (+19.84%) is the standout. π International: approximately +18.2%, currently the strongest sleeve. ZEM is leading, while both $FCIM (+17.93%) and $FCIV (+17.76%) are comfortably ahead of $ZEA (+13.18%). π Innovation: approximately +13.2% with the current 50/50 FINNβORBX split. That number hides an enormous dispersion: +38.28% versus β11.80%. For comparison, ZEQT is at +14.68% on the same chart. What I find most interesting is that the portfolio isn't being carried by just one region or one factor. International is currently leading, Canada has been very steady, and several of the momentum/value allocations are outperforming their broad-market counterparts. But the Innovation sleeve tells the other side of the story: diversification matters even within a high-conviction allocation. FINN has more than compensated for ORBX so far, but the gap between the two is enormous. Sometimes the portfolio-level return hides the most interesting part of the story. This is why I like looking under the hood.
Same for me as well. I got to know about FINN couple of months ago and started accumulating. My booking cost and finn price is almost same. But I have a conviction that innovation will do better and its long term hold.

Finn isn't a great winner for me, I'm literally like break even, etf has done nothing in the past few months. Feels like a waste of time.
