Lately a lot of Blossom members have been pointing out posts that are created using AI. As you probably know, there's a new feature on Blossom that lets you detect whether a post used AI and people are quick to call out posts that use it. Here's my question: Does it matter if AI assisted in the creation of the post and does it bother people enough that they have to point it out? I'll probably never use it and that's my choice. Others use it to polish and enhance their content and that's their choice. Does it serve a purpose to have "this is AI!!" in the comments? The post used AI as a tool and it looks professional. Isn't that where it should end? As always, comments are welcomed. I'd like to hear from both camps.

I think people are calling it out because of the daily insults from others and people acting like know-it-alls and think their shlt don't stinks. Always judging others and critiquing others. If you don't take pride in your work as a content creator and feel you must use AI to write a social media post, then maybe it's not for you. You aren't creating content. Ai is doing it for you. It's not hard to understand

I believe the problem is not with the assisted AI, some people generate and copy paste markdown result even without reading. Fancy infographics is fine a guess, just annoying. If all content will be generated and read by AI, why need people at all? We are here to learn, to share and to discuss. Fancy AI articles generated on unknown unverified data should not prevail.

I think using AI to help with research is one thing, but having AI write its thoughts and passing it off as your thoughts are something completely different. I've used the AI detection feature to block AI posts, so I'm happy they added the feature.
