The real test comes over the next 12 months

Only about 5% of SpaceX's $SPCX stock is actually trading publicly right now.

The other 95% is still locked up.

And starting in August, they get released in waves.

Here's the unlock timeline no one is talking about (based on the June 12th listing):

- After Q2 Earnings (around Aug 11th):
Around 20% of insider stocks can sell.

- Aug 21 st - Oct 25th:
7% unlocks roughly every 2 weeks.

- After Q3 Earnings (around Nov 9th):
28% more unlocks.

- December 9th:
Most insider stocks not owned by Musk can be sold on the public market.

- June 2027 (Day 366):
Elon Musk can sell stock on the public market.

So what does all this actually mean?

The hype is loudest right now when supply is lowest and prices are highest.

As locks expire over the next 6-12 months, more stock hits the market.

This is typically when IPOs have a lot more sell pressure and the IPO valuation is tested.

None of this means SpaceX $SPCX is a bad company.
IPOs are built to give insiders their exit.
Most are buying when the hype peaks and insiders are lining up to cash out.

So understand the lock-up schedule. Don't let FOMO make a decision for you.

The problem is that people think Wall Street cares about their opinion and social media followers liking their comments. None of that matters when it comes to Wall Street. Money matters; people have to make money, and that money has to come from someone

Whats that mean 5% of spcx stock is trading publicly right now the othet 95% is still locked up , starting august they get released in waves?

Volume is 256 million does that mean they have 256 million shares out we can buy?

How does this effect us the regular person?
