— Building a smart AI data center is useless if you can’t turn the lights on. AI needs a lot of power. But connecting a new data center to the regular electric grid can take 3 to 6 years, according to BNN. Big tech companies cannot wait that long. So, they are doing something new: - Making clean power right on-site with fuel cells. This big change is starting a huge new trend: 1. Fast Setup: Fuel cells can get approved and set up in just a few months. 2. Huge Growth: Spending on data center fuel cells could jump from $2.8 billion to $30 billion by 2030. 3. Cleaner Power: They make less pollution than old gas generators. Top Stocks & Funds to Watch: - $BE (Bloom Energy): The main leader making fuel cells right on-site. - $HYDR: A fund that holds top hydrogen and fuel cell companies. - $ICLN: A fund that holds many different clean energy companies. Are you buying any clean energy stocks right now, or are you staying with regular tech? — This is for information only and not an investment advice.

FYI hydrogen fuel cell companies such as Plug power and Ballard power are not profitable and have not been profitable since I can remember and they've been around for a long time.

I think the only solution is nuclear power. It can be combined with the fuel cell technology to produce cheap hydrogen through electrolysis from water for fuel cells. Otherwise you are using hydrocarbons and releasing CO2 to produce the fuel for the fuel cells.

i had no idea grid hookups could take that long, makes the onsite fuel cell angle click for me
