Why Donāt More People Invest? And What Stops Them?
Why do you think some people you know donāt invest? Fear of losing money? Donāt know where to start? Think they need a lot of money? Donāt know that they can invest at all? Or simply donāt trust the market? No judgment, just curious. What do you think is holding them back?

E) All of the Above i talked to one person, they got burnt by Bitcoin and crypto and thus canāt trust the market some people are ignorant , told me their job prevents them from investing ā¦ in individual stocks ā¦ I said why not ETF index fund ā¦ replied whatās that ā¦ other responses is the money , usually bad budgeting and prioritizing nice-to-have wants as if they were essential needs

Fear of losing all of it after they grew up hearing about the markets being a scam during the 2000s That was one of the least rewarding decades & most that suffered through it wanted to let anyone they cares about avoid that pain

I think a lot of it can be generational. If our parents taught us not to talk about money, that it doesnāt come easily, that investing seems scary etc those beliefs can influence and frame our own perceptions. Sometimes people break these but often they can carry those learned ideals for years, directly influencing their behaviour @retired
