Hi Blossom! So this weekend my dealership quoted me $80 to replace my cabin air filter and another $40 for my engine air filter. They also told me my windshield wipers were worn out 😭 SO....I replaced both my filters and my wipers by myself for $80!!! (AND in less than 15min). I basically did four services for my car for the price of one service at the dealership that's crazy!!! My expenses have increased lately with my new commute to my new job so I'm always looking for ways to save money! And with winter approaching, I took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend to clean my car and get some maintenance done. I don't have the tools or garage to do my own oil changes or swap out my winter tires, But basic car maintenance is something I've been learning to do myself. I learned by reading my car manual and YouTube so don't be afraid to try something new. It's a skill you develop over time. And seriously being able to do something like this in a very short amount of time means saving $50 or $60 which could go towards groceries, a date night, a nice treat, or money toward my investments. What's a skill you've learned that saves you money? And are there any other car maintenance tasks I can do myself without needing a ton of tools? Let me know! happy investing!!!

I prefer to pay professionals for certain things. Life experiences taught me that things cost more money if you do certain things yourself and make a mistake then gotta pay more money to fix your mistakes. Pay the professionals for certain things and move on with my life works for me, but each their own

Well done !! 🙌🫡 Canada taught me landscaping skills, helping us by doing our backyard ourselves! 🌱🏡 Not the fancy one but definitely saved a lot of $$ 💰 Cheers
