CrowdStrike announced a new AI Kill Switch within its Falcon Guardian platform, designed to give enterprise security teams control when AI agents behave outside their intended instructions.
The feature allows authorized teams to:
* Stop rogue AI agents through the AI Gateway.
* Prevent them from restarting.
* Restrict their access to company networks.
The important detail: gateway-based termination is available now, while direct endpoint termination is planned for a later release.
My takeaway: As businesses give AI agents more autonomy, controlling what they can do becomes just as important as what they can do.
