As I’ve mentioned, I’m not buying at this valuation 🙈 If $SPCX had not merge with xAI, I would have allocated 10-15% of my portfolio to SpaceX as the connectivity segment is profitable and alone could even be considered as high quality business . But SpaceX business has changed dramatically over the past few months since xAI’s merger. Few concerns I have is that shareholders have truly no voting powers (Musk controls >80% of the company) and the intensive cost to build this orbital AI compute infrastructure over the next few years. SpaceX went public to have easy access to capital, so lots of dilution are to be expected.

None of this buying is based on logic, mind you, just hype and billionaire (now trillionaire) worship. There is so much data, articles, YT videos, TikTok videos, news reports, etc etc breaking down why the IPO did not reconcile with the valuation… but people ate it anyways. “Emotions and FOMO should not be a part of investment strategy… unless it’s my emotions. And my FOMO. Then it’s ok.” Sad.
