Are Apple and Google positioning themselves for a world where stablecoins and tokenized dollars become part of mainstream payment infrastructure? Apple is hiring for its Apple Pay financial-products team and specifically lists an understanding of stablecoins, tokenized deposits and blockchain technology as a preferred qualification. Google Cloud is also hiring for Web3 and digital-asset expertise, including stablecoin rails, tokenized deposits, custody and real-world-asset tokenization. Google is also developing Google Cloud Universal Ledger, blockchain-based infrastructure designed for financial institutions that supports asset tokenization and programmable settlement. Samsung is moving in a similar direction. Samsung Wallet already supports digital assets in some markets, and Samsung has been expanding the wallet beyond traditional payment cards into a broader digital-asset ecosystem. One company that might be able to see some new highs is Securitize $SECZ Securitize is one of the major regulated platforms focused on tokenizing real-world financial assets. It became publicly traded on the NYSE under SECZ in July 2026 and works with asset managers including BlackRock, Apollo, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR and VanEck. Securitize was the tokenization platform behind BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, tokenized short-term Treasury/cash-management fund Securitize also has regulated operations in both the United States and Europe. The company says that, based on its current U.S. and EU regulatory authorizations, it is presently the only company licensed to operate regulated digital-securities infrastructure across both jurisdictions. As of now that could be a first movers advantage. Is it a true MOAT? I don't know it might not even be true it's just what the company is pushing. But if stocks, funds, bonds, cash equivalents and eventually everyday payment systems increasingly move onchain, the companies providing the regulated infrastructure underneath all of it could become very important and Securitize is one of the companies that could benefit if stablecoins and tokenized assets become a larger part of financial infrastructure.
