Some of the most interesting growth stories in the stock market aren’t happening in technology. They’re happening in restaurants. Here are 8 restaurant stocks expanding their footprints across the country and beyond: 1. The Cheesecake Factory $CAKE Operates 380 company-owned restaurants across brands including Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, Flower Child, and Fox Restaurant Concepts. 2. Wingstop $WING Expanded from 2,932 locations in Q3 2025 to 3,331 in Q3 2026, adding nearly 400 restaurants in just one year. 3. Dutch Bros $BROS Reached 1,273 shops, up from 1,081 a year ago, with plans for approximately 250 additional openings in 2027. 4. CAVA Group $CAVA Reached its 500th restaurant in Q3 2026, growing its footprint 20.5% YoY. 5. Shake Shack $SHAK Ended Q3 2026 with 738 locations worldwide, including 427 company-operated and 311 licensed restaurants. 6. Texas Roadhouse $TXRH Grew to 840 restaurants across its brands, up from 806 a year ago. 7. First Watch Restaurant Group $FWRG Reached 681 restaurants in Q3 2026 after opening 16 new locations during the quarter. 8. Kura Sushi USA $KRUS Expanded from 79 restaurants at the end of FY2025 to 95 at the end of FY2026, with another 17 openings planned for FY2027. I think restaurant expansion is one of the more interesting growth stories to follow. But opening more locations is only part of the equation. Same-store sales, restaurant-level profitability, and returns on new locations matter just as much. Which of these 8 restaurant stocks would you be most interested in owning for the next decade?
