Market Bounce Analysis: Weekly Trends and Insights
The market bounced this week. This is exactly when I trust it least. Here is the number almost no one is posting: 55.8% of the names on my board are still bearish on their weekly trend. After the bounce. The daily clock turned back up, that is the green you see. The weekly clock, the slow one that reads the trend, never moved. $NVDA , $AMD and Qualcomm all flashed a buy on my scanner this week, and all three broke their weekly trend in the very same week. $QQQ is still 3.3% below the floor it lost. Short term bouncing while long term stays broken is the textbook shape of a dead cat, not a bottom.
