TSMC beat expectations. The stock fell 3.4%
The company that makes the world’s AI chips just beat expectations. The stock fell 3.4%.
$TSM revenue was up 41% on last year, ahead of its own guidance. It’s guiding for +58% next quarter, and the CEO says AI demand “far exceeds” supply.
So why the drop? Margins slipped as new 2nm factories ramp up, and spending is rising.
The market traded the cost. I’m watching the demand. Every chip for $NVDA, $AMD and $AAPL goes through this company.
