Women, Money & Power Report looks at a major shift in global finance: women are gaining greater influence over wealth, investment decisions and the allocation of capital. A few important themes stand out: The great wealth transfer: As wealth passes between generations, women are expected to play a growing role in managing and directing it. Financial leadership: Women are increasingly shaping decisions in banking, asset management and major financial institutions. Investment and AI: Female finance leaders are examining how AI, geopolitical uncertainty and new investment opportunities are changing markets. Women and capital: Greater financial authority means women can influence which businesses receive funding and which industries attract investment. Changing wealth management: Financial advisers are being challenged to involve women directly in financial planning rather than treating them as secondary participants. One particularly interesting perspective comes from Morgan Stanley's Sherry Paul, who argues that having wealth is different from having authority over it. She highlights the importance of women being active participants in household financial decisions. The bigger takeaway: This isn't simply about gender representation. It's about how changing ownership of wealth could reshape investment priorities, business leadership and the wider economy.

Empirical studies analyzing real-world portfolio performance consistently shows that women generally earn higher net investment returns than men. Men trade 45% more on average with a higher concentration in higher beta & speculative trends, while women prefer buy & hold indexing with balanced diversification. Not surprising!!!
